To the CSB and SJU communities:
It is with great sadness that I report that late on Wednesday afternoon, February 4, Father Bruce Wollmering collapsed in the basement quadrangle washroom in the monastery. He had lost much blood and gone into cardiac arrest. The medical team was unable to revive him, despite being on the scene almost immediately. We await further clarification of the cause of death from an autopsy.
The reception of the body will be on Monday evening, February 9, at 7:00 pm and the funeral will be on February 10, at 3:00 pm.
