Accusations Against Leftist “Monks”

Saint John’s is a place where you can see a performance of the Vagina Monologues, see modernist architecture, watch pagan ceremonies and see conferences promoting vice of every kind. What you’ll be hard pressed to find is Catholicism, because they haven’t taught much resembling it for years, just enough to fool those donors who might be attached to it, and the occasional Opus Dei member on the board. Just allow us to maintain plausible deniability, that’s all we ask.

We spent many a time together up in “the Loft” above the stage or at a some party or other event at “The Farm” in Collegeville. How many actors passed through those doors?

A Declining Monk Population

Abbey's Monk Population in DeclineThere is no doubt that the sexual abuse scandal has had an effect on the monk population at St. John’s Abbey in Collegeville, Minnesota.  The scandal, the coverup and the sexually charged environment within the monastery caused good men to leave, while predators and their enablers remain. At least three former monks said that being pursued by another monk contributed to their decision to leave the abbey.

St. Ben’s Susan Sink Regarding Women Priests

Today I went to a community Mass presided over by a Roman Catholic woman priest. These are women ordained as priests by male bishops or by women priests who were ordained by male bishops or, increasingly, women bishops. The important thing (to them) is that they retain legitimate succession back through ordained bishops. However, they are not recognized by the Roman Catholic Church. A few years ago there was even a pronouncement that the act of being a woman ordained automatically excommunicates both the woman and whoever ordains her. So, officially, she is an excommunicated woman, completely outside the official communion of the Roman Catholic Church.

Monk Regarding Fr. Dan Ward
