Misconduct Letter Not Received

I have just found your website and stumbled across the recent news of more abuse at St. John’s. I graduated in 19XX, my brother in 19XX. I did not receive any letter from the abbot or anyone else about these latest allegations of abuse. I found the letter online and read that all alumni were sent a copy. That’s nonsense. I never received any word and neither did my brother. I did however get a fundraiser notice from one Raj Chaphalkar (’08), Assistant Director of Annual Giving, dated 10/21/1011. I also receive emails from Alumni Affairs about gatherings. One wonders just how hard they are trying to reach the alumni with this sordid news when they can not even combine their email lists.

I briefly spoke with Benson who indicated that he did write the Facebook post and indicated that he wrote this in response to the opinion posted by Marker in the St. Cloud Times. He identified John Gagliardi as his grandfather and stated the article had upset him. He initially indicated that it was a threat, but during the formal statement indicated that it was not a threat.” – Stearns County Sheriff’s Report (May 9, 2014)

This guy [Father Dominic Keller] was my speech teacher in [the early 60’s] and told me I needed special “breathing lessons”. We met at his office and he had a table there where he had me lie down, pants unbuckled with a mirror in front of me so I could see my chest and stomach. He stood behind the mirror and gave me words to say and I was to watch my stomach/diaphragm and he’d correct my breathing.

The situation with [Victim] occurred in 1984 between his freshman and sophomore years at SJU. [Victim] got involved with campus ministry through one of his professors and came to know a person who was on staff for campus ministry. That person’s name was Roger Julkowski. [Victim] thinks Julkowski may have had other duties at St. John’s as well, including faculty advisor.

Local casting agent charged in sexual assault

A casting agent who has worked in the Twin Cities film community for many years has been charged in a Massachusetts sexual assault. Matthew Feeney, 43, is accused of assaulting a 14-year-old boy in December 2010. Feeney pleaded not guilty and was released on $25,000 cash bail earlier this month.
