Francisco Schulte Warns Student About Father Dunstan Moorse

I attended school at St. John’s Preparatory School in Collegeville, Minnesota. I started as a freshman in 1981 and I graduated from St. John’s after completing my senior year in 1985.

During my freshman year I spent some time with Father Dunstan Moorse. I took some classes that he taught and spent time talking to him after school or whatever. Father Dunstan was also a Prefect for the dormitories on campus. I thought that Father Dunstan was rather strange because of some of the things he wanted to talk about with the students. These things included sexual topics.

During my sophomore year, I spent more time with Father Francisco Schulte. I recall one time during my sophomore year in the spring of 1983 that I met Father Francisco outside on campus. I believe that we were just chatting about general things which included talking about certain things I might expect in my next two years. I’m not sure how we got onto the topic, but we started to talk about Father Dunstan. I remember Father Francisco saying to me something like “you might want to keep your distance from Father Dunstan”. I had replied by asking Father Francisco why this was so. Father Francisco told me that he couldn’t tell me at that time but that I’ll find out in the future. I recall that it almost seemed to me to be some sort of warning.

It was during my last two years at St. John’s that I heard some stories concerning Father Dunstan and some male students. I recalled what Father Francisco had told me and wondered if that was what he meant.

I have read this statement of one page and it is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and memory.
